The study is to be able to prove the hypothesis that says, the lower the financial status of a country, the lower the level of employment in the country. Thus, it has to get all the material needed to justify the theory or to disqualify it. From this will be able to get the real picture on how the unemployment in the Arab Gulf countries rose and how the financial crisis affected it. The study is look forward to accomplish some of its objectives such as; to know the level of unemployment that occurred in Saudi Arabia as to the result of the financial crisis among the Arab Gulf countries.
To attain the ways in which the financial crisis affected the employment rate in the Saudi Arabia. To establish strategies that Saudi Arabia can use to improve on their employment level among its citizens. The study will be carried by the use of the focus groups that will be created by the selection of the participant in the use of the purposive sampling system in research. This will enable the researcher to be able to attain the information needed as he will be able to select the people of whom he thinks that has more information on the subject.
Thus we can say that, as much as the data to be used will be from the existing once, the study will be more dependants on how the affected people think towards the issue of unemployment in the country. 1. 1 Identification of the Knowledge Gap Having got many of the literature on unemployment issue experienced among the Arab Gulf countries after the financial crisis, the researcher have not been able to get the real influence that it had in the Saudi Arabia as an individual country.
As a result, the study is aimed to look at the unemployment rate that rose up in Saudi Arabia after the global financial crisis (Dean, & Taylor & Francis Group, 2003, pp 323). In this, we will be able to get the level of impact that it had on an individual country other that generalizing all the Arab Gulf countries together, thus helping one to get a tentative plan on how to assist the country to improve. 1. 2 Statement of the Problem The study is meant to satisfy the unemployment problem that has risen in Saudi Arabia.
With this, it has to come up with the ways in which the country can do to reduce the level of unemployment in the country. 1. 3 Objectives and Limitations These are the main points that the study is meant to attain at the end of it all. Some of the objectives for the study are such as: 1. To know the level of unemployment that occurred in Saudi Arabia as to the result of the financial crisis among the Arab Gulf countries. 2. To attain the ways in which the financial crisis affected the employment rate in the Saudi Arabia.
3. To get the strategies that Saudi Arabia can use to improve its employment status among its citizens. As much as the study has the target to attain at the end of it all, there are some of the limitations that will tend to bare it from attain the accurate or appropriate report from the sample group selected. Some of these limitations are: 1. The information got will be based as per the thinking of the individuals. 2. Having got different job opportunities in the region, the cause may tend to be different as well. 3.
The suggested strategies at the end of the study may take long to be implemented or even not implemented at all in the country as for any thing to be implemented in a country has go through many procedures. 1. 4 Hypothesis This is the relationship that exists between the two variables in the study. For this particular cases, the variable on the study are; unemployment and financial status of a country. From the previous works, it is clear that there is a relationship between the rate of employment in a country and its financial status.
For the sake of this particular study, the hypotheses that will have to be proven right or wrong from the findings of the study is that; the level of financial status in a country dictates the employment rate in the country, in that, the employment rate in the country depends upon how stable the financial status is in a given country. Thus, we can say that, the more stable or the higher the financial status in a country, the higher the level of employment in that particular county and vice verse. 2. 0 Review of the Literature
In the year 2007, the Arab gulf countries faced the major financial crisis in their states. In this, the issue has some of the negative impacts on the countries on which one of them was the rise in unemployment in the countries (Pulsipher, L. Pulsipher, A Hapke, & Goodwin, 2007, pp 342). This impact rose due to some of the challenges that the jobs sectors faced during the crisis. In this proposed study, the paper is meant to focus on unemployment issue after the global financial crisis in the south Arabia country.
In this, we will look at the key areas and the ways in which the crisis led to the increase in the unemployment in the region. Thus, the paper will tend to be divided into further section to satisfy its requirement in the study. 2. 1 Slow In The Industrial Wheel This was the main cause of the financial crisis in the countries, it was known that due to the influences that the oil industries had at that time, they did not managed to control the price rate of oil in the county, this in the long run led to the reduction of the price in which the was the main income for the countries (MacDonald, Lindsay, & Crum, 1990, pp 44).
As result, the economy status if the countries decreased as compared to the rest. Due to the reduction of the oil prices, the countries were unable to sustain the importation of other goods in the county. In which their citizens depend on for their business. 3. 0 Methodology This is the way in which the study will be carried out, the mode of selection of the sample to be used to get the information in which we will get our findings from. Thus, the section will be split into section in which each of them will look at each aspect individually.
3. 1 Method Of The Study The study is of quantitative type of research in such away that one has only to get what really exists on the ground from people. Thus, to be bale to get our finding more appropriately, the research will tend to use the findings of other researchers together with the findings in which the study will get form the ground, in this, the findings will be obtained from the focus groups in which will be arranging basing on the sample group selected through the purposive mode of sampling in research.
From this, the research will be able to get the view of the people in the group and later on analyze with that which he would have got from the literature in place to come up with appropriate conclusion basing on the study. 3. 2 Source Of Data In order to select the correct data from the focus group for the study, the researcher will prepare a questionnaire in which he will be using to assess the information that the respondents have so as to get only the relevant information from them.
To achieve this, he will have to guide the group through the discussion to enable him to manage the time spent in each of the focus group. 4. 0 Importance and Contribution of the Study The findings of the study is purposed to be of importance to the Saudi Arabia government in such away that they can have the proposed strategies that they can use to get the ways in which the can use to improve the rate of employment in the country (Dasgupta, & Kiely, 2006, pp 71).
The study will also help the business people in the country to have the knowledge on how they can be able to increase their income in which in the return will be increasing the financial status of the country thus increasing the rate of employment in the country. None the less, the study is also meant to be of help to the employers, in such a way that they can come up with better methods that they can use to improve the rate of employment in the country. Conclusion With proper finding got from the research, the study is aimed at improving the rate of employment in Saudi Arabia.
